HCA is a family owned, full service medical billing company. Since our inception by founder Edie Swiercz in 1991, our goal has been to offer our clients complete revenue cycle management with a personalized touch.
While working as an accountant, Edie saw first hand the detrimental effects of insurance companies’ complicated billing guidelines and unfair denials. After helping several of her struggling clients streamline their medical billing and challenge insurance denials, Edie founded HCA to fill the need for a full-time, professional billing partner.
Today, we carry on this tradition, but also offer additional services to help providers deal with new challenges such as EHR, ICD-10, and healthcare reform. Over time, our company has grown to now service over fifty accounts in a variety of specialties. Our providers operate all over Chicago and Illinois, as well as in Wisconsin, Indiana, Nebraska, Iowa, Michigan, Hawaii and Texas.
At HCA, we pride ourselves on high client satisfaction and long-lasting relationships. HCA’s leadership and staff work closely with providers to tailor our services to their unique needs.
David Swiercz, President
David Swiercz started working at HCA in 1999, and took over as President in 2012. Under his leadership, HCA has expanded its services to include EHR support, established a print and online communication network to keep our clients updated with industry changes, and enacted an ICD-10 readiness program. David oversees all aspects of HCA and regularly corresponds with clients to keep them up-to-date on their billing performance.
